Good lighting is the single biggest design upgrade most homeowners can make, and it's also where bad electricians leave the most visible mess — cut drywall, wrong color temperature, flickering dimmers, uneven spacing. We take lighting seriously.

Frequently asked questions
How many recessed lights do I need in my living room?
Rule of thumb: divide the ceiling height by 2 — that's the spacing in feet between cans. An 8-ft ceiling wants cans every 4 ft. For a 15×18 room, that's about 12 cans. We measure on site and lay it out before any drilling.
Can you install a chandelier over my dining table?
Yes. Bottom of the chandelier should sit 30–36" above the tabletop for an 8-ft ceiling. We bring a non-marking ladder or scaffold for higher ceilings.
Will you cut up my ceiling?
We make the minimum cuts required. For recessed lighting in a drywall ceiling, we use hole saws that produce a clean circle matching the can size. For a chandelier swap where a box already exists, there's no cutting at all.
What color temperature should I choose?
2700K (warm white) for living rooms and bedrooms — matches incandescent. 3000K (soft white) for kitchens and bathrooms. 4000K+ (cool white/daylight) for garages, workshops, and task lighting. We recommend matching temperature across the same room.
